Maintenance methods for chassis engine in Mercedes Benz truck accessories:
1: Regular maintenance, including initial and subsequent maintenance
Time: Regular maintenance according to system prompts
Conventional items: engine oil filter, engine oil, fuel filter, air filter
2: Oil and oil filter replacement method
(1) Start the engine and warm up for 10 minutes, then turn off the engine.
(2) Open the oil pan, drain the waste engine oil, open the oil filter bowl cover, remove the unused filter element, bag the waste engine oil and drain it thoroughly, then install the filter element and cover the oil cup cover
(3) According to the requirements of the electronic oil level gauge, add oil to the specified position and start the engine. Check the oil pressure and lubrication circuit for leaks. Stop the machine for ten minutes and confirm the oil level again
3: Replacement method and precautions for oil-water separator
(1) Open the drain plug at the bottom of the oil-water separator and drain the diesel fuel
(2) Remove the power plug of the oil-water separator base
(3) Remove the oil water separator base
(4) Remove the oil water separator filter element
(5) Replace with a new oil water separator filter element
