1, rack and pinion steering gear: it is one of the most common steering gear. Its basic structure is a pair of meshing pinion and rack. When the steering shaft drives the pinion to rotate, the rack moves in a straight line.
2. Worm and crank pin steering gear: It is a steering gear with worm as the active part and crank pin as the driven part. The worm has trapezoidal thread, and the finger-shaped conical finger pin is supported by a bearing on the crank, which is integrated with the shaft of the steering rocker arm. When steering, the worm is rotated through the steering disk, and the conical finger pin embedded in the spiral groove of the worm rotates while the steering rocker arm shaft makes an arc motion, thus driving the crank and the steering vertical arm to swing, and then the steering wheel is deflected through the steering transmission mechanism.
3. Circulating ball steering gear: circulating ball power steering system. The main structure consists of two parts: the mechanical part and the hydraulic part.
The mechanical part is composed of shell, side cover, upper cover, lower cover, circulating ball screw, rack nut, rotary valve spool and fan tooth shaft. There are two pairs of transmission pairs: one is a screw, a nut, and the other is a rack, a fan or a fan shaft. A rolling steel ball is arranged between the screw and the rack nut to change the sliding friction into rolling friction, thus improving the transmission efficiency.
