Description of the Installation Structure for Nitrogen Oxygen Sensors

2024-09-30

Installation Position

When installing nitrogen and oxygen sensors, it is essential to protect the electronic control unit from exposure to rain and urea solutions, which may cause detrimental effects. Additionally, precautions should be taken during the cold start phase to prevent water or other liquid accumulation in the sensor probe. The installation angle of the probe must have a minimum tilt of greater than 10° relative to the horizontal plane, with a recommended torque for threading the Nox sensor probe set at 50±10 N·m.

Connection Wire Introduction

The electronic control unit connects to the nitrogen-oxygen sensor probe via eight high-temperature resistant wires (-40°C to 200°C). The wire colors are as follows: white, black, blue, yellow, gray, red, and green.
